AT THE HEART OF THE UNIVERSITY LIFE OF BEJAIA ‎STUDENTS FACING COVID 19

The COVID-19 epidemic has put a strain on our university ‎structures. She made each of us ‎think about how we viewed our ‎social responsibility in such a difficult situation for students. ‎On ‎March 12, 2020, the President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Taboun ‎announced the ‎closure of universities. It quickly became clear that ‎the classes would not resume face-to-face ‎before next fall, which ‎was officially confirmed on April 2, 2020, asking them to provide ‎the ‎courses online to ensure pedagogical continuity using all ‎available means, in particularly the ‎internet and digital ‎communication tools. The spread of the coronavirus in Algeria ‎has ‎therefore upset not only study programs, but also student ‎vacations. The questions we ask in ‎relation to this situation are to ‎know, what is the current situation of distance education ‎in ‎Algeria? how do these students appropriate these technologies ‎in an education and training ‎context? Has it changed the practices ‎of teachers and students? Are they satisfied with this ‎change? ‎Does it take into account the new needs of students? The main ‎objective of this ‎research is to assess the state of play of teaching ‎through what the students of the University ‎of Bejaia, SHS faculty ‎say, testimony relating to emotions and reflections. and the ‎choices ‎made in this context, believe that Covid-19 is a virus like ‎no other and that this threat should ‎be taken seriously‎‎‎.‎
