BRITAIN’S ROLE IN SUPPORTING THE ZIONIST MOVEMENT PROJECT ON THE LAND OF PALESTINE (1900-1917)
The study dealt with Britain’s role in supporting the project of the Zionist movement on the land of Palestine, through several sections, which dealt with: the political project of the Zionist movement, and then to the changes in British policy towards the Zionist movement, and finally, it dealt with Britain’s role in enabling the Zionist movement in Palestine, and the study aimed to Research on the foundations of the British-Zionist alliance. The study discussed the efforts of the Zionist movement to obtain Britain’s approval to establish a national home for the Jews on the land of Palestine. The study showed that Britain played an important role in enabling the Jews to control Palestine. The study also confirmed that the issuance of the Balfour Declaration came within the British strategy that married Protestant religious visions. and protecting its interests in the Arab region. The study concluded that the implementation of the Zionist project on the land of Palestine resulted from the intertwining of British relations with the Zionist movement, and that the Balfour Declaration is not based on any legal or historical basis, and poses a danger to the future of the Palestinian cause.
