BUILDING SCIENTIFIC COMPETENCIES FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE QUR’AN AND SUNNAH, THE TEACHER AS A MODEL

This study deals with an analytical reading of how to prepare scientific competencies from the perspective of the Qur'an and Sunnah, for that it is one of the topics that play an active role in framing the educational process. Producing a scholarly discourse that deals with reality and includes all modern knowledge structures and methodological tools becomes a civilized duty to achieve academic quality. Making this happen calls for the proper preparation of human resources and interactive agencies in the educational process. This can also be done in light of the value approach that frames the dimensions of this process, based on the Quranic format linking science with values through educational measurement, in a way that epistemology is inseparable from values. The Qur'an discloses that Allah, the almighty was the one who built Adam's competencies and abilities through testing his abilities in maintaining the values after receiving theoretical knowledge from Almighty Allah. Despite the strength of his composition, it did not prevent a pedagogical defect in his performance. However, Adam gained cognitive competence and quickly returned to the cognitive format. After realizing the nature of the defect, he returned to the arena of moral action, evaluated his efforts, and asserted that his cognitive abilities could yield hidden competencies in the human mind and moral conscience. Accordingly, if competence means the ability to build knowledge and develop abilities, skills, and gains in accordance with a methodology that allows the adoption of modern science, thus, the study aims to highlight how to build competencies in the Quranic perspective, especially in the light of openness to Western knowledge and the methodological mechanisms employed by the messenger of Allah in preparing the teacher and building his competencies. This study aims to show how to build scientific competencies and their tools. As a preliminary step, we will rely on the linguistic and analytical analysis to define the competency, indicate the scientific foundation of competency in the Quranic perspective, and highlight the importance of values in building scientific competencies. The study concludes by describing the methodological mechanisms and applied procedures in producing scientific competencies from a prophetic perspective. The study also adopts induction and analysis methodologies to determine how to build scientific competencies in the light of the Quranic methodology and extract the methodological mechanisms employed by the Prophet (peace be upon him) in creating the teacher's competencies and raising the quality levels of the line of knowledge.‎
