The research is a study of the biography of the author of Al-Manaqib bin Shahr Ashub (d. 588 AH / 1192 AD) (his name, lineage, surname, birth, attributes, life and scholars’ sayings about him, and his death), Then a study of the book (Manaqib Aal Abi Talib) (its methodology and importance, the reason for writing it, its editions) The last part of the research is a study of Abu Talib, the uncle of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and a role in his life and his impact on the support of Islam and Muslims because he represented one of the masters of Quraysh and his distinguished role in the events that the Holy Prophet went through before the spread and victory of the religion of Islam. And the statement of the role of Abu Talib as a true support for the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) in many situations and his death left a sad impact on the soul of the Holy Prophet, with a study of the codification of the events mentioned by the author from their documented sources with a statement of a banner in those events, hence the importance of writing it.
