THE POPULAR TALE AND ITS ROLE IN DEVELOPING THE CHILD´S IMAGINATION
The popular tale is one of the most widespread literary genres among children, because it plays an important role in the mental and psychological construction of the child, and also helps to develop his perceptions and unleash his innate talents. For the tale to bear fruit, it is necessary to take into account the appropriate age for presenting these masterpieces. The child finds pleasure in hearing folk tales and is quickly drawn to his world full of excitement, paranormal, heroism and amazing wonders
