However, this benefit quickly turns into addiction to these communication devices and their exploitation on the negative side. Hence, the Ministry of Education must develop purposeful educational curricula that work. On directing and educating students on the optimal use of media and making values the main influence that instills awareness, modifies and improves students´ behavior while using media and communication, From the above, this field study aims to reveal the risks of automatic use of information and communication technology by students, as well as to know whether there are educational curricula aimed at enabling students to understand and acquire skills in the use of media and communication, which is a descriptive and analytical study in which we relied on the questionnaire that was Distributing it to a random stratified sample of secondary students, with the aim of answering the following main question: Does information and communication technology pose a threat to Algerian schools in the absence of guidance and media education?
