Themas Wolsey is one of the important Figures during the reign of the English king Henry VIII (1509-1547), as he was his advisor, he helped him alot in matters of governance and politicso Thomas Wolsey held religious and secular position in church and state before becoming a cardinal and chancellor. He won the support of the clergy and politicians and gradually rose to become a minister Thomas Wolsey used his position to gain power and fame, and his powers became wide after he became an advisor to Henry VIII and directed the state`s domestic and foreign policy, which led to an increase in his ambition to obtain the position of the papacy So, the choice of Thomas Wolsey`s personality and his impact on England's policy came as a title for this research, which will shed light on the important factors that helped in his intellectual and social formation, as well as its impact on England's internal and external policy and the results that resulted from those two policies.
