REFLECTIONS OF BROTHERHOOD ON LIFE

Islam is morality and practice. Every Muslim has to demonstrate the good morals befitting Islam with his/her actions. Believers live together in society, and the spirit of this life is unity. For a believer, the beauty of this worldly life is realized as long as we embrace our spirit and spiritual values. When viewed from this point of view, it is seen that unity is an indispensable part of personal and social life. Our supreme book, the Qur'an, which constitutes the basic principles of the religion of Islam, guides believers in all their individual and social relations as well as in the understanding of brotherhood with all its dimensions. With the gradual revelation of the Qur'an, the understanding of brotherhood, which was established among believers in Mecca, took its perfect form in Medina and manifested itself in the form of Islamic civilization. There are many orders and recommendations in the Qur'an for the construction of a society where unity and solidarity in social life is established, security and peace prevail, and rights and law are enforced. The religion of Islam has established social unity with practices that are unprecedented in the history of humanity regarding brotherhood. Thus, Islam established great civilizations and set an example for the whole world.‎
