“THE EXTENT OF THE DIFFICULTIES TO LEARN READING ENCOUNTERED BY PRIMARY STAGE STUDENTS AT HAIFA DISTRICT SCHOOLS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THEIR TEACHERS”

This study aimed to identify the degree of reading difficulties that students face in the primary stage in Haifa District schools from the point of view of their teachers. The researcher used the descriptive survey method to achieve the study's objectives. On the scale of Alawneh's study (Alawneh, 2023) to measure the difficulties of reading that face students in the primary stage in public schools in Haifa District schools from the point of view of teachers, it consisted of (30) items distributed on three axes. The results were most important in that the degree of reading difficulties faced by students in the primary stage in Haifa District schools from the point of view of their teachers is average. It was found that there are statistically significant differences at the significance level (α = 0.05) in the average responses of the study sample regarding the degree of reading difficulties they face. His request for the primary stage in public schools in Haifa district schools is due to the variables (sex, educational qualification). Based on the study's results, the most important recommendations were the need to rearrange reading subjects in primary schools, especially for fourth grade students, and to work to take into account the psychological factors of the child and his stages of development when arranging Reading topics in the Arabic language textbook.
