WHAT IS THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE ARABIC LANGUAGE AND OTHER LANGUAGES, AND LOCAL DIALECTS? (MULTILINGUALISM, BILINGUALISM)

This research is considered an attempt to describe the clear ambiguity that political linguistic in the Arab world suffers from in the absence of proper linguistic planning, which has led to a stifling crisis that has made ordinary sociolinguistic phenomena a point of controversy. We summarize this research with the reality of the crisis of multilingualism and bilingualism based on the study of some issues. Which he presents in the Arab linguistic arena, and we will study them in the following axes: (reasons for multilingualism, bilingualism, linguistic alternation). Therefore, the research explores the shortcomings that made multilingualism in the Arab countries appear in more ambiguous and complex forms, as well as some proposed solutions to overcome these. The big gap between what is approved by Arab constitutions and what is applied to the linguistic scene.
