THE DEGREE OF APPLICATION OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT AMONG DEPARTMENT HEADS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BAGHDAD FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF THE FACULTY
A field study aimed to determine the degree of application of knowledge management among department heads at the University of Baghdad from the point of view of the faculty. The research adopted the descriptive analytical method. The research community consisted of (1103) faculty members in the colleges of education at the University of Baghdad. The research sample was chosen by a simple random method by (25%) of the research community, as the number of sample members reached (280) of the teaching staff. A questionnaire was designed and the questionnaire consisted of four areas (the concept of knowledge management, knowledge generation, knowledge organization, and knowledge application). The researcher confirmed its validity and reliability. The results of the research data were analyzed using the (SPSS) program, and I reached the most important results: Department heads have awareness of the importance of spreading and supporting the culture of applying knowledge management in various fields in the departments of the colleges of education / University of Baghdad and activating knowledge management activities among the teaching staff, which drives and motivates them to accomplish work and achieve goals.. In addition to arriving at a number of recommendations and proposals related to the research.
